Islamic State leader bans vile execution videos

2015/07/19

KUWAIT CITY, July 19. /TASS/. Leader of the terrorist group Islamic State Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has imposed a ban on video shooting executions of prisoners and hostages.

A missive prohibiting graphic scenes of violence in propaganda videos was reportedly sent to all Islamic State media outlets and social networks.

Al-Baghdadi said he was concerned that such gruesome videos might offend other Muslims and frighten their children.

Experts say this missive was issued just a few days after the Islamic State had released a chilling video, in which a ten-year boy is beheading a Syrian soldier. The video was shot in the Syrian province of Homs.
