Russian Prime Minister Mishustin tested positive for coronavirus

2020/04/30

Russian prime minister Mikhail Mishustin has contracted coronavirus infection. The head of the Russian government has temporarily resigned.

Mishustin, who was diagnosed with Covid-19, suggested appointing first Vice Prime Minister Andrey Belousov acting head of the Russian government. President Putin supported the initiative and promised to sign the adequate decree today, April 30.

Mikhail Mishustin will spend the next two weeks in self-isolation.

"I have just discovered that I was tested positive for coronavirus. In this connection, as well as in accordance with requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, I must observe self-isolation regime. This is absolutely necessary in order to protect my colleagues," said Mishustin, addressing Putin via video conference.

The Prime Minister assured that the government would continue working as usual.

"What is happening to you now can happen to anyone," Putin said, thanking Mishustina for his work. The president also promised that he would continue to consult Mishustin in making decisions on issues that they had previously discussed.

In turn, Mishustin appealed to Russian citizens with a request to act as responsibly as possible during the May holidays.

On March 27, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that he was infected with COVID-19. At first, he continued working from home, but then the duties of the head of the British government were transferred to British Foreign Secretary Dominik Raab. In early April, Johnson was hospitalized, and a few days later he was transferred to intensive care. Three days later, Johnson was again transferred to an ordinary ward. On April 12, the head of government was discharged from the hospital. At the end of the month, he resumed his office work.

Coronavirus: an answer to Paul Craig Roberts

Coronavirus: an answer to Paul Craig Roberts

This article is inspired by some reflections that Paul Craig Roberts has recently shared with his readers [1]: a very infectious virus such the coronavirus can easily overwhelm the New York health system or the Italian national one. Can decreeing an extended quarantine over an entire country be the best way to contain the epidemic and avoid a backfire of the infection? At what price?

I do not know in detail the American situation preceding the first cases of coronavirus but I can say something about Italy.

Italy

All Italian governments in past years, regardless of their political color, have cut funding for the public health system, screaming at the top about efficiency, fighting waste and corruption, roaring of making the Italian health system better, more flexible but also more strong, capable of facing the challenges of the future.

An example of this optimization process (sic) were the words of the president of the Piedmont region, Sergio Chiamparino (Democratic Party), who in 2014 in an interview with the well-known Italian newspaper La Repubblica said: "... I think the reason for keeping open the structures should not be the keeping in office some bosses" [2].

Another example can be the Veneto Region of Luigi Zaia (Northern League) which in recent years lost the 40% of its hospitals' intensive care beds. So in the words of Mrs. Sara Cunial, once 5-Stars representative but now perhaps only disgusted, during her recent speech in the Italian Parliament [3]. The words of Mrs. Cunial should give rise to at least a reasonable doubt in the listener, certainly a doubt to be verified with a thousand attentions, but still to be taken into consideration. The reactions I see and the comments I read on the web, however, do not force me to believe that her words have had this effect on a sufficient number of people.

Economies and politicians

Given the results of these unfortunate days, one wonders how far-sighted have been those economies so desired and flagged by all Italian politicians, in every region of our country.

Eliminating beds first, entire departments after and finally the whole hospital does not mean saving money on the job of some boss (which is not fired as not-fireble Italian public employee) but rather depriving yourself of a huge wealth of scientific, medical and human experience. A wealth that could have been available in an emergency. For example, during an epidemic caused by a very contagious virus, when so many sick people arrive in the hospital that you no longer know where to put them.

The Italian case, however, is peculiar under some other aspects, which are not only merely economic and logistical ones.

The Italian government of our Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte moved with some delay in declaring the first quarantine measures, which entered into force only on the last 23 February and not all over Italy [4]. Why? Basically, for two reasons.

Since January, Matteo Salvini, the strong man (sic [5]) of the Northern League, proposed a partial quarantine and health checks at the borders, especially from China, when the situation in the former Celestial Empire was showing its whole drama. This reasonable proposal, of pure passive defense, was received by the Left in office with its usual Pavlovian reaction: Salvini was racist, fascist, white supremacist, rough. It was therefore ignored amid the laughter of the national Gauche caviar.

Forgive or forget?

How to forgive or forget now Nicola Zingaretti, when as secretary of the Italian Democratic Party (the former communists ...) moved happily from Rome to Milan [6] to enjoy in a public aperitif against racism? As racists were those who, like Salvini, asked for health checks at the airports ... Ironically, Mr. Zingaretti fell ill with coronavirus a few days after his public aperitif, anyway surviving the disease.

The second reason was the absence between virologists and infectious disease specialists of a common vision on what to do. Unfortunately, some of these experts have shown and still show now mostly the traits of rock stars than those of professional and capable scientists.

It is superfluous to remember how far-sighted Russia was deciding immediately to close the borders with China and imposing medical checks at the airports. This did not stop the virus from spreading in the country, but slowed it down and gave to doctors the most important thing: time. The time that we tragically missed here in Italy. Official statistics from the Russian government indicate that the decision was wise and Russia has many infected citizens in recent days but very few deaths, generally people with previous diseases (which, among other things, strongly proposes the problem if the coronavirus is the only or rather a contributing cause of death).

Eventually the epidemic in Italy exploded in all its tragedy, causing an impressive number of deaths, especially in the North and in particular in the areas of Brescia and Bergamo where it seemed to witness the effects of a biblical scourge. The government quickly panicked due to increasingly alarming reports (and, perhaps, also because of an all too much feminine inclination of the soul of some of its male components) and then imposed a draconian quarantine which is still in place with all its ups and downs.

However, the stupidity of the government and the political majority that supports it in Parliament was contrasted by the sense of duty and the spirit of sacrifice of those who found themselves on the front line taking care of the sick. In fact, we will never be able to thank enough doctors and nurses who went out of their way to care those unfortunate victims, often helplessly witnessing their death but exposing themselves to the danger of contagion. We will never be grateful enough to all of them, who have earning as medals of valor the signs of exhaustion and dismay, the skin of the face striped by the facial masks worn for too many hours. Doctors and nurses, all of them remained in their places, aware of the responsibilities that weighed on them: for them, there were no big or small things but only the duty.

Angles of God

I have no hesitation telling you that I consider them as angels of God among us [7], sent by Him to the rescue of His children in danger, just when, on the other hand, ran away an institution once venerable and today represented by an Argentine dressed in white, obsequious to the decisions of a government of cowards: close sacred places, cease liturgical ceremonies, discourage the first and most immediate link between those in danger and the only One who can actually save them, forgetting that Francis was and is, first and foremost, the name of a saint who embraced lepers.

The exhausting but continuous commitment of doctors and nurses has therefore become the unheeded call to duty that the Church of Bergoglio is no longer even able to imagine, committed as it is to please the World. On a more earthly level, this superhuman commitment is what makes even more hateful and impossible to forgive the foolish lightness of the Italian Democratic Party and its leaders, committed to participating in aperitifs and antiracist dinners when the opposition politicians, in time, wisely asked for more caution.

The spread of the infection saw in a flash a creepy peak in the areas of Brescia and Bergamo. Why? It has been said that the two areas are home to the most important industrial districts of Italy and that therefore the virus has spread rapidly because people always move in and out, greatly facilitating the infection. It may be, but there are other industrial districts in Italy, not so far from those two cities and peaks similar to those of Brescia and Bergamo have not been seen. Micro dust pollution? The virus could certainly be conveyed by micro dust released by industrial plants (like all viruses, probably) but, in general, all the cities of Northern Italy suffer this type of pollution and therefore the contagion should have been fatally almost homogeneous. In the South, also Taranto experiences this condition, due to the mega steel plant that for decades has offered the population the captivating choice between starving or cancer. Yet in Taranto (as in all of Southern Italy) there have not been so many coronavirus deaths to panic the entire country. So?

Vaccination campaigns

Why not at least glance at those two massive vaccination campaigns against flu and meningitis that were carried out, one after the other, right in Brescia and Bergamo before Christmas 2019?

No, dear naive readers: there is a vaccine religion that has in some doctors by mistake the high priests that are much less inclined to forget their divinities than certain men dressed in white. Even the mere possibility of a scientific research to clarify is enough to take the sleep away from the board of directors of some pharmaceutical company specializing in vaccines.

Here it would no longer be a matter of some poor child devastated by the adverse reaction to a useless vaccine but of tens of thousands of Italian deaths and an unknown number of billions of euros in damages. It is easier and more convenient, then, to propose a vaccine (!) against the circulating coronavirus, perhaps experimenting it on a fee-paying human "volunteer". Bill "mini Malthus" Gates will take care of convincing you, complete with a subcutaneous microchip [8].

Going back to the good Roberts and the questions he rightly asks, we must also understand that the Americans... are not really in quarantine.

We Italians are in quarantine and it is like being in prison.

For two months, we have left our homes only to go to work (and not all of us) or to buy some "useful food": supermarkets in fact no longer sell socks and underpants (for example) because they could entice citizens to go out more often (sic). Taking two bottles of wine instead of just one can get you a fine at the discretion of the police officer who stops you. Spy drones are used to control citizens, never seen before even against drug dealers who regularly bulling in our squares. We have constantly flying helicopters at 8000 euros per hour to discourage families who eat in perfect solitude on the roof terrace of their home. Three police patrols (6 armed men!) may suddenly appear against an old man sitting on a bench, away from everyone, alone, out of his home because he is exhausted by the domestic confinement. We are forced to wear face masks when we move, when we are at work, when we have to talk to someone live.

Fear

The others are no longer simply Italians like us but the enemy that can infect us, perhaps kill us. Fear dominates us, it impregnates us with its essence like a poisonous sweat. Fear affects us, making us not men strong and free but rats crouched at the bottom of their lair.

This fear is the best ally of the government of imbeciles who holds the destiny of our country in these days. For this reason, I envy Michigan [9] and its anti-lockdown militiamen: they are the honorable fruit of Benjamin Franklin's words "those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety".

So to clearly answer one of the initial questions, yes: it's time to leave our houses. It is time to be men, not rats.

The United States is running out of strategic bombers

The United States is running out of strategic bombers

by Paolo Mauri

On April 16, five USF B-52H bombers took off from the Andersen base in Guam [1], in the Mariana Islands, to return permanently to the United States, to the Minot Afb in North Dakota, the home of the flock. Exactly three days after the show of strength given by the "elephant walk", the elephant path, seen right on the Pacific base runway, the five Stratofortresses left the garrison after 16 years of uninterrupted deployments.

"US strategic bombers will continue to operate in the Indo-Pacific region, including Guam, at the time and time we deem appropriate" were the laconic words of the spokesman for the US Strategic Command (Stratcom) which marked the end of a very long parenthesis which saw the seamless presence of B-52H, B-1B and B-2 bombers in six-month shifts on the island of the Mariana archipelago.

Since 2004, in fact, the bombers have been a constant presence on the island of the Western Pacific, representing a deterrent factor for China and North Korea capable of reassuring the regional allies of the United States. The deployment of assets of this type, capable in a few hours of hitting heavy targets even at considerable depth in the enemy territory, still represents a very effective tool of deterrence against the enemy, and moreover, strictly depending on the human factor (the pilot and the crew), is a much more flexible tool than a cruise missile or an intercontinental missile.

The constant presence of bombers in Guam therefore explicitly and strongly indicated the willingness of the United States to be resolutely involved in solving the crises and managing the stability of the region. Their withdrawal, without being expected to change, sends the opposite message precisely in a period in which the whole sector of the Western Pacific "bubbles", with all the risks that came from it: where a step is taken backwards, there is someone else who takes a step forward, and that someone else, in the region in question, is China.

This trend is even more evident from the increasingly frequent exits of the Chinese Fleet outside what is called the "First Chain of Islands" formed by Taiwan, the Philippines and Malaysia including the South China Sea, towards the "Second Chain of Islands" made up of Japan, Guam, Saipan and Indonesia.

However, why is the United States, and especially the USAF, "setting the pace" in the Pacific? The answer, once again, concerns the budgets and in this case those concerning the strategic air component, which since the golden age of the Strategic Air Command (Sac), which in the 1950s had more than 2000 bombers (between B-47 and the first B-52), has gradually decreased: in 1992, when the Sac was dissolved and re-framed in the Air Combat Command like Stratcom, the strength of the bombers amounted to 400 aircraft. Today there are 157 (B-52H, B-1B and B-2) with the aim of cutting another 17 by the end of 2021.

Double duty

To be even more precise, the strategic air component pays a double duty: the bomber fleet renewal programs have almost always been wrecked in the past decade both because of cuts in the defense budget and for the general picture of conflicts in the various theaters of the globe, which have no longer become comparisons between state entities with strategic area objectives, but asymmetric or low intensity conflicts, where the enemy does not have a uniform or assets (industries, ports, airports, barracks) to be hit but has become a guerrilla who hides in the mountains or among the civilian population of villages and towns.

The tactics of the Pentagon, and that of all western nations, have decidedly changed, since 2001, towards counterinsurgency and therefore, in addition to needing soldiers on the field, it required fighter-bomber and UCAV which are much more suitable for hitting targets often point in densely populated areas compared to a strategic bomber.

Although aircraft such as the B-52H, which came into action in Afghanistan especially in the early period to "level" (or try to do so) the caves of Tora Bora, or like the B-1B that participated in Inherent Resolve, the operation that since 2014 fights against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, has proven their effectiveness more from the point of view of psychological warfare than from the elimination of the enemy, the fleet of strategic bombers has been guilty "forgotten" by US politics , which only recently, in the face of the rebirth of state threats, has launched an ambitious program for a new bomber, the B-21 Raider, which, however, will not see the light before a decade.

Show of force

Despite this, when the United States must make "a show of force" the first move that is made is to redeploy a number of heavy bombers, whether they are B-52H or B-1B, in the various bases around the globe, such as Guam in the Pacific or Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, with a consequent considerable wear of means, which, as we have seen, they are not replaced thus generating a vicious circle that sees fewer and fewer planes for more and more missions.

The striking example is given by the B-1B, the first bomber in the world with a variable geometry wing and General Larry Stutzriem tells to Defense News [2]. The Lancer fleet, this is the name of the aircraft, represents more than a third of the entire USAF bombing fleet. In the aftermath of 11 September, 26 had been withdrawn to free up funds that should have been destined for their modernization. In the following years, however, the US Air Force continued to use the aircraft intensively in a series of almost uninterrupted operational deployments, which increased wear and tear. With the budget cuts, it was not possible to keep the entire flight line of the B-1Bs open and therefore many were forced to land, thus generating an additional workload for the machines still in service: last summer the operational readiness of the B-1B had collapsed to 10% precisely for this reason.

The general argues that the ongoing pandemic, with its heavy economic repercussions, has further exacerbated this situation and the definitive withdrawal of bombers from Guam is only the first consequence of a trend that will have a significant impact on the deterrence capacity of the USAF. It is perhaps no coincidence, therefore, that on Wednesday 22 April, a B-1B that took off from the Ellsworth base in South Dakota, after a long flight that made it touch Alaska and close to the Russian airspace of the Kamcatka peninsula, landed in Japan, in Okinawa. If such events are very frequent in Europe, it is rather rare that they happen in the Pacific, especially in the Northwest Pacific: a small show of strength for the benefit of the US allies but above all of its opponents.

Primacy

Therefore, if the United States does not want to lose the primacy and its deterrence capacity, it will be forced to invest much more in the B-21 program, even going to double the number of expected aircraft, in consideration of the fact that bombers like the B- 52H, which however is expected to remain in service until 2050, are no longer able to successfully penetrate modern air defenses, thus relegating them to "second-line" tasks against little or no defended strategic objectives - or for a second strike - and against tactical targets. Precisely from this last point of view, the recent decision of the USAF to "radiate" the nuclear free-fall bombs B-61-7 and the B-83-1 from the free-fall armament of the B-52H while maintaining atomic attack capability only thanks to Agm-86B air-to-surface cruise missiles.

However, while waiting for the Raider to enter service, the trend that forces the majority of the bombers' fleet to ground, that is to say that more money is spent on their maintenance or modernization, must be reversed: a question to be resolved quickly but which it could clash with the current economic emergency caused by the pandemic.

Czech Republic works against Soviet military legend to set up Russia

2020/04/29

Czech mass media report that Russian special services brought ricin poison to Prague. Three candidates may play the role of Sergei Skripal – they all are connected to the story about the demolition of the monument to Marshal Ivan Konev.

According to Respect weekly, a man holding a Russian diplomatic passport arrived in Prague in the beginning of April and took refuge in the Russian embassy. Czech special services believed that the person brought ricin poison to the capital of the Czech Republic.

The Czech police currently took under protection the following individuals:

  •     the head of Prague 6 district, Ondřej Kolář, who is hiding in an unknown place,
  •     Prague Mayor Zdenek Grzyb
  •     the head of the Rzhepory district, Pavel Novotny (he wants to erect a monument to the Vlasovites).

In his "open letter to the Russian Federation" Novotny used the following epithets to describe Konev:

  • "monster",
  • "psychopath",
  • "mass murderer" and "lousy military leader", whose name is "not worthy of respect in school books."

According to denikn.cz website, the Russian ambassador to Prague, Alexander Zmeevsky, was told on behalf of Czech Foreign Affairs Minister Tomasz Petřicek that the Czech Republic would respond accordingly, if something happens to the above-mentioned people.

Obviously, Ondřej Kolář and other leaders recklessly and zealously started to get involved in the “war of monuments” with Russia, but they did not take into account that they were being prepared to slaughter in the information war according to the “poisoning scenario” that the Russian special services tested in Britain.

New Skripal case may appear in Europe at any time

Valery Bruter, an expert at the International Institute for Humanitarian and Political Studies told Pravda.Ru, that such a scenario might be brought into play at any time. Moscow has no way to avoid it if such a decision was going to be made.

"Russia stated that it had nothing to do with it, but there is no way Russia can take this person (Kolář) under protection or avoid any crisis situations that may arise in this connection," the expert noted.

According to the expert, any representative of any Western intelligence agency may poison those officials in Prague and then accuse Russia of that without providing any evidence.

“This situation comes natural to the West. It is natural for them to be hypocritical and make accusations without providing any. It’s also natural for them to design and implement scenarios in which they blame others. They even have a name for that – false-flag operations,” Valery Bruter said.

According to the expert, the demolition of the monument was not de jure organized by the state – it was the local self-government that arranged it. According to the laws of the Czech Republic, the Czech government is not responsible for the actions of Czech self-government.

Abolition of Russophobia comes first, business comes second

According to Valery Bruter, Russia should show a political reaction in response to the Czech story. First and foremost, Russia should demand the EU administration and the leaders of major EU states should condemn Russophobia.

“Russia needs to associate its relations with Germany, France and other major EU countries with how they shape their role in establishing normal relations with Russia. They should condemn Russophobia in all its manifestations. For some reason, Russia is not doing it. Moreover, Russia has not been doing it for long – this is a big mistake,” said Valery Bruter.

On April 3, 2020, Prague 6 City Hall ordered to demolish a monument to Marshal Konev. The statue should be relocated to the Museum of the 20th Century, but it is still being kept in an unknown location. some kind of storage. Commenting on the move, Kolář cynically declared that the monument had to be demolished because Konev was standing there without a mask, while the rules of the quarantine were the same for everyone.

US-based company Squire Patton Boggs prepared a report, in which it substantiated the decision to dismantle the monument.

In Russia, a criminal case was filed in connection with the demolition of the monument under article "Vandalism". Under the Russian law, perpetrators can be sentenced to one year of corrective labor if they are brought to trial before the Russian judicial system.

Moscow sent a request to the Czech Republic to hand over the monument to Russia, but Kolář  sent and arrogant decline in response. Afterwards, the Czech Foreign Ministry said it was ready to discuss this issue. Representatives of the local authorities claim that the monument is property of Prague-6 district. However, the plot of land, on which the monument was located, belongs to the capital’s administration, according to the national cadastral registry.

It is worthy of note that it was decisive actions taken by Ivan Konev that prevented the destruction of Prague. The defeat of the million-strong German army group under the command of Field Marshal Ferdinand Schörner went down in history as an example of military art. During the offensive, 40,000 enemy soldiers and officers were killed and wounded, 860,000 were taken captive. Konev ordered not to use heavy artillery and aviation during the assault to save the historic city from destruction.

Tu-160 nuclear triad aircraft disturb NATO over Baltic Sea

2020/04/29

Two strategic missile carriers Tu-160 of the Aerospace Forces of Russia conducted a planned flight over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.

The flight duration was more than eight hours. At certain stages of the flight, F-18 of the Air Force of Finland, F-16 of Denmark, F-16 of Poland and Saab JAS 39 Gripen of the Swedish Air Force were escorting the Russian aircraft.

The Tupolev Tu-160 is a supersonic strategic bomber, an aerial component of the nuclear triad. The aircraft is designed to strike strategically important targets in enemy’s rear lines with nuclear and conventional weapons. The Tu-160 is capable of carrying 12 cruise missiles on board.

Pilots of the Russian Long-Range Aviation pilots regularly fly in the Arctic, over the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic Seas, and over the Pacific Ocean. All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces are carried out in accordance with international regulations for the use of airspace.

Russian paratroopers perform historic jump in Arctic region

2020/04/29

A group of Russian paratroopers jumped from an altitude of 10,000 meters in the Arctic region. The landing mission went successful, all the military men coped with their tasks perfectly,  the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

The landing operation was conducted from Ilyushin IL-76 aircraft in the area of Franz Josef Land archipelago. The fighters used state-of-the-art means of high-altitude landing. In particular, they had a new generation of special-purpose parachute systems, special oxygen and navigation equipment, which was designed specifically to work in severe Arctic conditions.

It was the first time in history, when a group of paratroopers jumped from an altitude of 10,000 meters under Arctic conditions. According to Defense Ministry representatives, no one has done that before.

The landing operation was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and to the 90th anniversary of Russian Airborne Troops.

Pandemics and the hypocrisy of American cultism

2020/04/28

Pandemics and the hypocrisy of American cultism

Let's begin with a question, or series of questions actually:  Would you turn over your car keys to a stranger simply because he/she asked for them?  How about the keys to your home or apartment?  Computer passwords?  ATM code or bank account information?

If you are like most people, your answer would be a resounding NO!

Yet, every day, without a second thought or a moment's hesitation, millions, perhaps billions, of people give control of their most valuable asset to others: their minds.

This can be done short-term.  For example, if a careless driver recklessly merges into your lane, you would probably immediately fill with rage and want to show that driver a gesture that emphasizes your disgust, not realizing that you can actually control your reaction by accepting the reality that such carelessness on the behalf of others is an unfortunate, but inevitable reality, one faces when driving a vehicle.

But what really gives this careless driver unwarranted control is when such incidents linger with you: You go into work in a bad mood; you complain about that driver to your co-workers and friends; you let replays of the incident sneak into your mind when you're trying to relax and watch television; these replays cause you to toss and turn when you go to bed, thus costing you a good night's sleep.

And all the while, you're probably not even a passing memory in the mind of the person who provoked the incident in the first place.

Whether people realize it or not, this is the secret behind social, religious, and political cults-the idea of promoting some "great leader" who allegedly has all the answers, and your life will be bliss if only you let them think for you.

On July 25, 2014, I wrote what became one of my most popular articles for Pravda.Ru, Is Religion Humanity's Deadliest Invention?  In it I stressed that I had no quarrel with the founders of many of the world's great religions, and, in fact, I believe that if people truly lived by the deeper tenets of many of these faiths, instead of focusing on superficial rituals, the world might be a better place.

Charlatans

But I also realized that, somewhere along the way, a plethora of charlatans and opportunists realized that the exploitation of religion was not only an easy pathway to wealth, but also a perfect way to control and manipulate others.

For example, even the most accomplished con artist can usually only con the same "mark" once, because people realize they've been duped when it comes to investing in schemes like phony companies, gold mines, "miracle drugs," etc.

But hucksters of religion can (and do) con the same people over and over, because "God can't lose."  If they pray for a person's healing, and that person is healed, it was the huckster's "God power within."  If the person isn't healed and even dies, then it's simply "God's will."

If you doubt this, look at how many leaders of apocalyptic cults have predicted doomsdays, only to see these dates come and go, and yet many of their followers stay with them.

Tragic pandemic

Sadly, what made me recall my article from six years ago is the tragic pandemic that is currently plaguing the world.  I have been loath to write about this, because I didn't want to appear to be exploiting a disease that is causing such hardships and costing so many lives.  But when I realized the abject cruelty, hypocrisy, idiocy, and opportunism of many political and religious leaders today, and how they are relying on their cult-like status to deviously control people's minds (but remember, they can only control what one surrenders), I could keep silent no longer.

So, let's examine what we've learned about how the coronavirus has altered, or more accurately revealed, the one so-called "principle" of these cult leaders.

Pro-life has now become "Die to help the economy."

A few years ago, the animated show Family Guy released on DVD an episode that the network refused to broadcast because it dealt with abortion.  In it, one of the main characters, Peter Griffin, was adamantly opposed to his wife having an abortion, citing the off-quoted "Adoption, not abortion."  To this end, another character, Brian, the family's talking dog, told Peter, "If you feel that way, then let's go down to the agency and adopt a child right now."  To which Peter replied, "I only care about the unborn.  Once they're here I don't give a f*** about them."

I thought about this quote every time a "pro-life" politician wanted to cut funding for prenatal and health care, food stamps, job training, and education.

But I also thought about the other "pro-life" extreme.  Several years ago, Rush Limbaugh, one of America's prominent cult leaders and purveyors of spurious information, vociferously railed against Clint Eastwood's movie, Million Dollar Baby, because in the film Eastwood's character agreed to "mercy kill" a paralyzed female boxer he had trained, after she requested that he end her life.

Think how many other so-called religious and political leaders have protested in similar manners about the "sanctity of life," and "not euthanizing the elderly" whenever a terminally ill person requested that his/her life be ended.

Yet, what are we hearing today?  Texas has used the pandemic to halt almost all abortions in the state, yet its Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick says, "There's more important things than living," when arguing that the economy should be reopened despite the risk of spreading the coronavirus and the fatal impact it is likely to have on those most vulnerable to it-the elderly.

And despicable men like Bill O'Reilly have argued that many of those who died from the coronavirus were on their "last legs" anyway, neglecting of course, the fact that, absent this virus, who knows how long those legs would have carried them.

Then there's the buffoonery of Republican Legislator Robin Vos of Wisconsin, who argued that compelling voters to endure long lines in limited polling places during a pandemic was "perfectly safe" while he was decked out in protective gear.  And a majority of idiots on the United States Supreme Court agreed (and in the process caused several Wisconsin voters to catch the coronavirus).  Yet how is this same Court handling its own cases-by telephone!!!!

Of course, this is to be expected.  It's no surprise that politicians and judges (especially Supreme Court justices) are often the scum of the earth, who apply one set of rules to themselves and another to others.

But what is really infuriating is the so-called "religious" leaders who are exploiting cultish devotion to expose their followers to the coronavirus, instead of using their positions responsibly to keep the people who depend on them safe.

After all, if God is truly everywhere, as the religious are wont to say, then why does it matter whether people are worshipping in ostentatious trappings surrounded by others or in the privacy of their own homes?  The answer is simple-the arm of the collection plate doesn't reach into one's living room.

And enabling this is corrupt, mendacious monsters like Attorney General and preeminent Trump a** kisser the despicable William Barr, who is threatening to file lawsuits against States who unduly restrict religious gatherings.

Why?

Because these monsters know one thing-nothing conceals evil more effectively than hiding it behind God.  Exploiting God for their own duplicitous ends is their "bread-and-butter," and little nuisances like a pandemic certainly aren't going to stand in their way.

Of course, it can be argued that just because these religious gatherings are unrestricted doesn't mean that people have to attend them, so it's really an individual choice if one wants to risk exposure to the coronavirus or not.

But this ignores two realities.  The first is that these cult leaders know the control they have over their followers; otherwise, they wouldn't be so zealous.  The second is if individuals attending these religious services contract the virus, they increase the risk of exposing their families, friends, co-workers, and strangers.

The rub...

And therein lies the rub.  Currently there are numerous protests against restrictions imposed in many states to combat the spread of the coronavirus, and it is easy, even tempting, to say if these protesters want to risk exposure and death then they deserve what they get.  But the problem with a contagion is the irresponsible can also infect the responsible, just like the drunk driver who walks away from an accident with minor injuries after he swerved into oncoming traffic and killed a family of five.

Of course, if the reopening of the economy does not have dire consequences then those I am criticizing will bask in smug self-righteousness while people like me will be branded as fools.  But I can live with that, and even admit I was wrong, because, in truth, I would take no satisfaction in the worsening of a pandemic just to say I was right.

Which leads me to my final point about the primary danger of the cultism America is now facing:  The defensiveness it sires.

I often call this defensiveness the "gambler's syndrome."  An example is where people are playing slot machines and have already lost the funds they budgeted to gamble, so the logical move is to walk away and admit that money is gone.  But doing so makes them feel foolish.  So, instead, they dip into the grocery and rent money, spending it in the hopes that they will be redeemed by hitting the "jackpot."  While they win on occasion, more often than not they walk away both feeling and being financially worse off.

It is this refusal to admit one might be wrong-this defensiveness that makes one incessantly unwilling to take responsibility for one's own thoughts and actions that allows them to be manipulated by unscrupulous people.

I will admit, it is often difficult to tell the difference between an expert who speaks with your best interests in mind and an opportunist who speaks with only his or her own.  But surrendering your greatest asset-your mind-by allowing cult-like devotion to exacerbate an already bad situation makes telling this difference impossible.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."

Covid-19 can attack brain and target people with blood type A

2020/04/28

The new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, which causes atypical pneumonia COVID-19, can also penetrate into the brain, disrupt the work of the nervous system and cause other severe complications.

The disease may not be limited to respiratory infections only. As practical studies show, in a significant number of patients, the virus affects the nervous system. The mechanism of its impact on nerve cells has not been studied yet, but scientists believe that there is some connection: a temporary loss of taste or smell was recognized as specific symptoms of COVID-19 in the middle of March. To make matters worse, the virus may penetrate directly into the brain from the nasopharynx. In this case, the virus may trigger a series of complications, disrupting the normal functioning of almost any organ.

The list of possible concomitant diseases is extensive:

  • deterioration of the respiratory tract (upper and lower),
  • brain dysfunctions,
  • heart failure,
  • myocarditis,
  • vascular occlusion
  • blood clotting disorders
  • digestive problems
  • encephalitis,
  • kidney dysfunction,
  • deterioration of the liver
  • Guillain-Barré syndrome (a rare disorder in which the immune system of the body attacks nerves)
  • paralysis...

Four months into the epidemic scientists still know very little about SARS-CoV-2 virus and its effect on the human body. The overall picture of the infection is extremely disintegrated, as doctors from all over the world continue sharing their knowledge about the disease as they treat coronavirus-affected patients.

The list of possible symptoms of COVID-19 has been expanded

The list of possible symptoms of COVID-19 continues to expand. There are already more than a dozen of them: chills, sore throat, trembling, muscle aches, headache, fever, loss of taste and smell, skin rash and livedo reticularis  (net-like bluish skin color), changed color of toes (blue or purple), conjunctivitis, redness of the eyes ...

This list may not include all the symptoms, as the virus constantly mutates and new strains emerge. In addition, one should suspect coronavirus if a person has several symptoms at a time. In no case should one engage in self-diagnosis.

New symptoms expand doctors’ knowledge about what other organs the virus can affect and what complications, other than pneumonia, the disease may lead to.

Most often, doctors describe disorders in the work of the nervous system. Two studies conducted in France and China found that more than a third of infected patients experience neurological symptoms in one form or another.

In general, the new infection is peculiar for its versatile and even individual approach. The list of described complications of COVID-19, which doctors had to face in practice, includes diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, heart problems and blood clotting disorders.

The virus may affect the human nervous system in very different ways. There were incidents, when the novel virus caused encephalitis (inflammation of the brain), as well as Guillain-Barré syndrome – a rare disorder, when the patient's immune system begins to attack its own nerve cells, which leads to muscle weakness and, in severe cases, to paralysis.

At least five cases of massive stroke were reported in coronavirus patients in New York City during the recent two weeks. The cases were reported in relatively young patients, who were under 50 years of age, and they did not have any other pronounced symptoms of COVID-19. Doctors believe that the coronavirus triggered the formation of blood clots in large vessels, which ultimately led to an acute disorder in cerebral circulation. At the same time, it was noted that neurological disorders were observed in severe patients. In such cases, symptoms at times  remain even after patients recover from COVID-19.

The virus can disrupt the nervous system both indirectly, through excessive activation of the immune system (the so-called cytokine storm), and directly. This was revealed as a result of the autopsy of the bodies of COVID-19 victims. Viral particles were found in the brain. Doctors assume that the infection penetrates into the brain from the respiratory tract through olfactory receptors in the nose.

This is not a unique ability of the novel virus. Some other viruses, including influenza and measles, may cause a similar infection of the brain too. This may lead to neurological diseases, albeit quite rarely.

Still, if the virus enters the brain, further infection is almost inevitable: there are ACE2 membrane receptors on the surface of the brain cells, through which the virus easily penetrates into the tissue, causing inflammation.

The cells lining the inner surface of blood vessels have the same receptor, which enables the virus penetrate into general bloodstream from respiratory organs into the general bloodstream. Thrombotic complications occur in almost every third patient, who suffers from coronavirus-caused pneumonia. The blood can carry the virus to any other organs, including the brain.

However, according to most recent reports, almost 50% of all infected people carry COVID-19 without any symptoms at all.

For the time being, it is believed that the severity of the infection, many of its symptoms, and possibly the likelihood of contracting the infection dependent on genetic factors, i.e. heredity.

Those who had a severe form of the disease have many neurological symptoms, such as confusion and disorientation. It remains unclear how long the consequences of the disease persist.

After recovery, patients with coronavirus often have a decrease in the volume of their lungs by 20-30 percent. Clearly, survivors will need serious rehabilitation, including pulmonary.

The severity of the course of the disease may also depend on the number of viruses that enter the body. Relatively speaking, a person touches a counter in a grocery store and then touches their nose or mouth. In this case, the number of viruses that have entered the body is likely to be small, and the body can manage to develop an immune response to them. In case of high viral load (like in hospitals), the disease may take a severe form, develop rapidly and result in lethal outcome.

To crown it all, it was discovered that the coronavirus can be especially dangerous for people with blood type A (II blood group). The number of deaths is higher with those having blood type A, doctors say. In Russia, the number of such patients amounted to 40 percent.

Russia leaves Iran and China behind in coronavirus pandemic

2020/04/28

Over the last day, as many as 6,411 cases of the coronavirus infection were reported in 83 regions of Russia, of which 2,609 (40.7%) had no clinical manifestations of the disease. Covid-19 claimed the lives of 72 people in the last 24 hours, 44 people died in Moscow. The number of patients who recovered in Russia increased to 8,456.

In total, Russia has 93,558 cases in 85 regions; the number of deaths over the entire period has increased to 867.

Thus, in terms of the number of infected individuals, Russia is ranked eighth in the world, having left behind China and Iran.

According to Worldometers, Iran has 91,472 cases registered during the entire pandemic, while China - 82,836 cases. However, the death toll in China is much larger than in Russia – 4,673.

Meanwhile, an initiative group of Russian doctors launched the "Memory List" website dedicated to the doctors, who died during coronavirus pandemic. The statistics collected by the project initiators exceeds the official stats among doctors – the list contains more than 73 names of medical specialists, who died of Covid-19.

Putin extends isolation as Russia ranked 8th in Covid-19 cases

2020/04/28

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a new extension of “non-working days” that were declared nationwide in order to combat the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. Without waiting for the expiration of the previous deadline (April 30), Putin announced that all days through May 11 would be non-working days in Russia.

Traditionally, Russians celebrate May holidays from May 1 till May 9 with just a few working days between them. Many prefer to take a few days off to spend a full-fledged ten-day vacation to spend it either abroad or working in gardens.

Putin explained the need to prolong the tough measures to combat COVID-19 with the fact that the epidemic in Russia has not reached its peak yet.

“We are now facing a new, perhaps the most intense stage of the fight against the epidemic. All of us will need utmost composure, discipline and mobilization. We must make sure that the wave of the epidemic subsides and finally declines,” Putin said.

Anna Popova, the head of Rospotrebnadzor (environmental watchdog), noted that during the new period of non-working days one should maintain the self-isolation regime and other restrictions.

This is the third incubation period for the entire period of non-working days that should interrupt the chain of transmission of the virus,” Popova said.

She said earlier that stringent restrictions need to be extended for at least another two weeks.

“We can’t stop halfway. So far, we have been in the phase of severe restrictive measures for only two incubation periods for this disease. In order to stop the spread of the virus and be completely sure that we will pass the point of no return, this is absolutely not enough,” Popova said.

On March 25, in his televised address to the nation in connection with the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, the president declared a non-working week from March 30 to April 5. On April 2, the president made a new appeal to the nation, having extended the non-working regime until April 30.

On April 28, it became known that Russia left Iran behind and took the 8th place in the world in the number of officially registered patients with COVID-19. As of April 27, 93,558 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the country (+6411 over the last 24 hours), 867 people died.

Something in the night sky: Elon Musk is watching you

2020/04/28

I have a little Vizsla puppy who I take out at nights to toilet before putting him in his bed for the night.  We have this into a pretty good night routine now; when we go out to the front lawn, I say “pee” and he promptly urinates after which he sniffs around the lawn for a place to leave a stool.  About a week ago now, I was doing my usual night routine and upon taking him to the front lawn, I glanced at the sky – as I’m oft to do, and then back down to see what my puppy was up to.  However, in that briefest of a glance, something registered in my mind that there was something unusual in the sky.

I looked back up to the sky directly overhead and noticed three very bright stars; they were “out of position”. What’s more, I seemed to be falling, losing my balance.  I made a deliberate effort to stabilise myself and noticed that the “stars” were actually moving.  Now I am old enough to have witnessed the first ever satellite when in 1957 my father took me out onto the lawn where we laid down and we searched the sky for Sputnik 1. My father picked it up and pointed it out to me and we watch as this tiny little speck moved across the night sky.

Since then, I have seen many satellites and knew that what I was looking at was indeed satellites – but these were different to any others that I have seen, they were very bright and they were in formation line astern. Leading the three very bright ones was one very faint one, hardly identifiable. They travelled SSE to NNW across our sky and moved over the visible horizon in about 15 seconds from when I picked them up at mid horizon. Now this really perked my interest; when I went inside, I told my young son [yes, I remarried] about what I had seen and he was very interested. “Were they aliens daddy”?  I recollected that song “The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one they said” and I told him not to worry, they were man-made satellites.

Several nights later, actually on the night of the 14th April 2020, I was again out late at night and again checked the night sky – this time I was amazed. There in the night sky I counted 12 bright satellites, in line astern formation as they travelled across our night sky – this time NW to SE and only three of them were visible at any one time. As they came overhead, they seemed to vanish as they no longer reflected light from the sun.  I stood watching the procession pass. Now I was really, really interested.

A quick Google search revealed that the engineer, industrial designer, philanthropist, and technology entrepreneur and Multi Billionaire Elon Musk [a citizen of three counties] has launched a total of 60 satellites into near earth orbit.

Apparently, the purpose of this is to provide Broadband Internet services to the whole world.  Well, really, that is magnanimous of him.

Let’s assume he is doing it for profit and not from some goodness of his heart.  It is estimated [again from that fountain of knowledge, Google, that his SPACEX broadband system will cost about $US80 per month.  Really?!  Well, that certainly isn’t cheap.  I get Broadband, 80Gb data for $US48 and I know there are more that are cheaper than that around the world. What is already supplied by copper cable or even Fibreoptic will undoubtedly be cheaper than SPACEX satellite delivery.  Not only that, you need to buy a de-coder as well! So, with the vast majority of the “developed world” already covered by cable, who is likely to be the clients? Those in deepest, darkest Africa or maybe Inuit?! Tell me, are they going to be able to afford $US80 per month and the cost of a decoder?  Hardly likely, most of them survive on about $US1 per day! And those that are really in the wop-wops don’t have Fiat currency.

Consider the transfer of information around the world already – over 90% of it is cable! Satellites are just not cost effective.

Call me suspicious, call me a conspiracy theorist [a CIA term] even call me a doubting Thomas, but whatever name you ascribe to me I’m certainly not stupid. Corporations don’t throw billions of dollars at a project if it hasn’t got a reasonable Business Plan.  A private entrepreneur is less likely to.  I smell a rat in the form of Skunks Works – Back Ops.

Oh, hell, I’ve just lost half of you. Well, for those who still want to follow this theme- I’ll continue.

Corporations [and that is what all governments are anyway] are creatures of habit – if something works for them, they keep it.  Western Intelligence Services at least, have established a modus operandi whereby they solicit/recruit some Billionaire - preferably an excentre one, and give him some plausible enterprise to pursue and as well as providing funding, ensure he gets widespread MSM coverage for his eccentric enterprise. This is de rigueur for Intelligence agencies.

Ah no, I can hear the nay-sayers from here already, casting aspersions about my sanity. Well, before you quickly dismiss this concept, let us just look at one historical incident.

At the height of the Cold War a Soviet Nuclear Ballistic Submarine K-129 was reported sunk in mysterious circumstances in 1968 – one of four mysterious submarines sinking in 1968.

  • The Soviets searched for several months in an area of the Pacific but failed to find any trace of their submarine.
  • The US on the other hand, had underseas hydrophones which had picked up the unmistakable sounds of a submarine imploding and had been able to triangulate the approximate position which was outside the search area of the Soviets.

K-129 contained highly secret cryptographs and nuclear missiles which the US were very interested in obtaining.  Project Azorian (erroneously called "Jennifer" by the press after its Top-Secret Security Compartment) was commissioned, to lift the K-129 and recover her secrets. But how to do this without causing the Soviets to be suspicious?

Enter the eccentric Billionaire Howard Hughes.  He apparently had this idea to extract Magnesium Nodes from the ocean floor – as if it wasn’t less expensive to do this on land? The US Navy managed to provide the USNS Glomar Explorer and have her fitted out specifically to lift the K-129.  [It is worth looking at the amount of work done to the ship for this task]. Howard Hughes was simply the Front Man for the operation and the CIA/Navy provided the balance of the crew etc. In July 1968, the United States Navy initiated "Operation Sand Dollar" with the deployment of USS Halibut from Pearl Harbour to the wreck site. Sand Dollar's objective was to find and photograph K-129. The K-129 was located in 4,900 metres of water!  The K-129 was eventually recovered in 1974 – there are varying claims made as to just how much was recovered but reasonable intelligence suggests that the US got all or most of the K-129.  Interestingly, the Soviets were tipped off about the operation and had it shadowed by two ships but thought it highly unlikely that the K-129 could be salvaged from that depth.

So, there you have it – research it for yourselves – you’ll find it is all factual.  Well, as factual as any Intelligence operation can be reported. Here is a classic example of the CIA using a Front Man to hide some nefarious operation. Do you really think a Leopard changes its spots? Come on – apply your mind.

I am convinced that Elon Musk is the “Front Man” for some Intelligence operation – is this some counter to 5G – to destroy the Chinese lead in this technology? Why would they be Line Astern? Are they measuring some Doppler Effect? It’s hardly likely to be some mapping system as the Earth has pretty well been fully studied from space already.

I’ve put forward my idea – what’s yours?

USA sets itself against the whole world

2020/04/27

Is there a difference between Russian and American lies? Pravda.Ru editor-in-chief Inna Novikova talked about it in an interview with Director of the Center for Geopolitical Expertise, Valery Korovin.

“What’s happening with the oil prices? They fell to all-time lows and created a catastrophic situation for everyone. At the same time, however, everything else has growing in price. The United States decided to impose sanctions on Saudi Arabia and Russia, because the Americans believe that Russia is to blame for this crisis.”

“Their shale oil at such prices is unprofitable. This forces them to impose sanctions. This is not a market behavior, to say the least.”

“Is this coincidence with coronavirus pandemic incidental or are they interdependent phenomena?”

“The Americans are quite pragmatic people, they always use any situation to their advantage, they always come up with something and get out of any crisis to their advantage too, leaving their competitors behind as losers from the financial point of view. If it had not been a coincidence now, they would have made it become one later.

    Any crisis serves America’s interests

“Conscience is not about the Americans, honor is not about the Americans either. Being pragmatiс, mean, being a liar – this is about the Americans. One needs to take all these parameters into consideration when dealing with the United States of America. Nothing prevents us from having the same attitude to them: when they get weak, we can push them to fall, when they lose balance, we can trip them up. This is not what the Russians do, though, but this is the right way to act with such an adversary. Moreover, if someone else wants the Americans to fall, we should not stop them.”

“Who can trip the Americans up today?”

“In fact, anyone can do it, because the Americans have set themselves against the whole world.”

The myth of good America is no more

“We can now witness the inertia of the myth of America being a great, good, powerful nation. Nothing has been left of this myth – there is inertia of it instead.   like that, which everyone needs there. This myth has long ceased to exist, there is inertia.

“We should make certain conclusions already now. If our economy depends on oil prices that much, one should restructure this economy so that it depends on oil prices as little as possible. When they imposed sanctions on Russia, Russia imposed countersanctions.”

“Why did we lift counter-sanctions unilaterally then? Europe has not abolished sanctions against Russia. Why did we do this?”

“We did it out of generosity, out of greatness, out of the power of the real, but not imaginary. At the same time, the raw material factor of our economy should be minimized. Saudi Arabia shot itself in the foot. Saudi Arabia's economy is 60 percent dependent on oil, while Russia’s – 15 percent, at least, as official stats say.

The West, with the help of our liberals, established occupation regime in Russia

“The Americans lie to others, but the Russians always listen to the lies from their own authorities.”

“Yes, we do hear lies from the authorities. Liberal and globalist elites were implanted in Russia about 30 years ago whose only goal is to serve the interests of the West.

"Yeltsin and his entourage, oligarchs, liberals, ministers, Gaidar and his liberal government with the assistance of the West, including the United States, established an occupation regime over Russia, which was exploiting Russia and taking it to disaster.

"We have not been able to clean the liberals out from the tissue of our government for 20 years. They are everywhere. They take key positions, misinterpret events and impose the liberal point the view. They always stand up against the construction of new churches, they do not want to mention God in the Constitution. They can not accept this idea for the liberal Constitution, which was written by Western, American advisers. We are still ruled by liberal elites. They are constantly lying to us. Whom are we blaming then?"

Coronavirus pandemic to change the world unrecognizably

2020/04/27

Coronavirus has dramatically changed the world in which we live today. In fact, the world is changing before our very eyes, rapidly.

Many experts are convinced that the world is not going to be the same after the coronavirus pandemic. Today, the best place to be is home, countries have closed their borders and limited travel between cities.

Of course, it will end some day, but people will not be able to return to their habitual lifestyle after the pandemic.

As observer Nikolai Grinko notes, modern technology will change along with habits and rituals. Not ере long ago, many of us wondered why so many people in Asia wear masks in the streets.
Today, everyone knows about the need for masks, disposable gloves and sanitizers.

Many of us will keep the habit of washing their hands thoroughly, for not less than 20 seconds. New anti-virus coatings will be developed, because viruses can be destroyed on the surface of certain metals.

One may expect "antiviral" handrails in the subway, door handles and elevator buttons. Thin metal threads will be weaved into fabrics, so we will soon have clothes to protect us from infection.

Remote medicine will be developing as well. It goes about personal health monitoring systems. Many people can already monitor their basic vial signs, such as heartrate, blood pressure, we can track the number of steps taken and calories burned — one does not need to go to the hospital for this.

Many conservative things will also change. In the field of travel, for example, after quarantine is lifted, all tourists will be required to take tests and show certificates proving that they have no coronavirus infection.

Preventive measures at airports and train stations will work differently too. Transport will change too — there are projects to install special protective screens between chairs in trains and aircraft.

Putin’s level of trust declines to its lowest in 14 years

2020/04/27

The level of confidence in Russian President Vladimir Putin in March fell the lowest point in 14 years, a new poll conducted by All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (known for the Russian initials as WCIOM) said.

In March 2020, 28.3% of Russians declared confidence in Vladimir Putin, WCIOM reported. This is a record low since January 2006, when the service began to conduct such polls. In December 2019, the level of confidence in Putin was below 30% - 29.8%. In January, it rose to 30.6%, but in February fell again to 29%.

In the most recent study, WCIOM asked an open-ended question - "Speaking of politicians, whom do you trust?". The direct question about confidence specifically to Putin was asked in a survey conducted on April 19. As many as 69.8% of respondents answered positively to that question. The peak of confidence in Putin in a survey conducted with a closed-ended question was reported on January 26, 2020 - 73.9%. March 22, the level of confidence fell to the lowest value - 67 percent.

WCIOM was conducting surveys on the closed-ended question until May 2019. However, after only 30.5% of respondents declared confidence in Putin, sociologists switched to closed-ended questions, which implies a clear answer, for example: "Do you trust [this policy-maker]?" In addition, WCIOM began to publish measurements of Russians' trust in politicians once a month. Prior to that, they would be published weekly.

Levada Center also reported a decline in the ratings of the Russian president.

  • In January 2020, the level of approval of Putin's work as president was 68%, in February - 69%, after which it fell to 63% in March.
  • At the same time, only 35% of Russians trusted Putin in February. Thus, the level of confidence in the Russian has halved in two years.

The level of trust in Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was 52.1%, a poll with a closed-ended question showed, which WCIOM conducted in the middle of April. As many as 38.9% of respondents approved of the new prime minister's work. The work of his predecessor, Dmitry Medvedev, found approval with almost the same number of respondents - 38.1%. By April 19, only 25.2% trusted Medvedev as Prime Minister.

Coronavirus pandemic versions: 5G towers, soft chaos, elixir of youth, Antichrist

2020/04/24

The ongoing pandemic of the new coronavirus infection cannot do without conspiracy theories. It just can't. Conspiracy theories go hand-in-hand with every event of global scale, be it a revolution, elections, terrorist attacks, scientific achievements, natural disasters, etc.

This is a normal trend, although conspiracy theories do serve as a contradictory tool for understanding the world. The tool is based on distrust to the centers of power and the feeling of powerlessness. Indeed, when we find ourselves in a helpless position, when we cannot change a situation in any way, we inadvertently start looking for those who remains is the center of power and who may benefit from this or that crisis. People project their uncertainty and suspicion to those whom they distrust.

Coronavirus conspiracy theory

Many conspiracy theories about the new coronavirus are hard to believe indeed. It is even harder to believe that some people can take them seriously, but they do.

As soon as conspiracy theorists announced that there was no such thing as COVID-19 virus, but there was deadly radiation from 5G towers, the association of British mobile providers, Mobile UK, reported dozens of incidents of arson of mobile communication towers in England, Wales and Scotland. Some of those arrested on charges of vandalism explicitly told the police that 5G cell towers supposedly caused the new virus to spread. Similar acts of vandalism against 5G cell towers were reported in Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Cyprus.

Unsubstantiated allegations of radiation from towers are associated with two false theories: one of them falsely assumes that 5G radiation supposedly suppresses the human immune system, while the second one claims that viruses somehow interact with 5G radio waves between themselves and find new victims, which contributes to the rapid spread of the infection.

In fact, while 5G does use a different radio range compared to earlier generations of mobile communications, this wavelength range still refers to the non-ionizing spectrum, that is, they do not have enough energy to destroy chemical bonds in human DNA and damage cells. To crown it all, people become infected with the novel virus in the countries where 5G is not used, for example, in Iran.

Virus saves children from Illuminati and Satanists

Another hard-to-believe version says that there is a mysterious combination of digits that serves as a protection from COVID-19. Mystics started proposing a combination of digits that supposedly can neutralize the influence of the coronavirus. For example, in Germany, a "spiritual surgeon" and a "life force advisor" from the city of Fulda urged people to hang sheets of paper with "537354" written on them. The woman claims that she received "this magical formula from creatures of the invisible world." The woman recommended writing these digits everywhere, especially in public places where people gather - at train stations, shopping centers, etc.

A Russian "expert" in the invisible world gives another life-saving combination of digits - "4986489." One shall assume that every country has its own combination of numbers.

Bruno Würtenberger, a "researcher of consciousness," believes that the things that are now happening in the world are part of a positive revolution. Imaginary chaos, in his opinion, is used to deprive evil rulers and those who stand behind them (Illuminati and Satanists) of power. The good forces that do this, are building a "humane system that is full of love" that will see neither wars nor hunger. Public life was stopped deliberately so that we do not interfere in the process to restore order in the world.

Some conspiracy theorists believe that the coronavirus pandemic saved the lives of hundreds of children, whom the ruling elite allegedly had been keeping in custody for the production of the "youth elixir." According to this version, the huge floating hospital USNS Comfort, which arrived in New York, was not intended to treat the infected Americans - it arrived to save children who had been tortured for years by elites. The children were allegedly tortured so that their bodies produce adrenochrome (as a result of the breakdown of adrenaline). This substance serves as the basis for the "elixir of youth."

Anti-Semites traditionally explain the current pandemic with their usual version - Jews and supporters of Israel are guilty of everything. According to them, it was the Jews who selectively spread the virus to cause great damage to their enemies. In addition, they spread rumors about the non-existent pathogen to make humanity panic order to take control of it. Naturally, the news about Israeli scientists working on the vaccine is seen as an evidence to proof the theory.

God punishes gays and lesbians

Representatives of many Christian movements believe that coronavirus is nothing but punishment from God. According to them, God could be enraged by the legalization of abortion and same-sex marriage. Michael Arndt, Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church in Berlin and Germany, saw a sign in the fact that the virus came down on us during the Lent. According to him, God sent the virus to our world because of gays and lesbians.

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill spoke about the COVID-19 pandemic as divine providence that should destroy the ideals of the consumer society. "The development of human civilization, especially in the last decade, has been driven with the unrestrained desire to have more, consume more, desire more. People's consciousness has been reoriented so much that the desire to have more took the central place in life, while all the great values and ideals, including the most beautiful ideal - faith in God - went into the background for many.

"If we become closer to God as we go through this oppression, we will undoubtedly overcome this oppression. What is happening to people today will be for the sake of all of us," Kirill said.

Ironically, not that long ago, Patriarch Kirill made a trip around Moscow in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class vehicle, in which he carried icons. While on the trip, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church prayed to relieve Moscow of the coronavirus infection.

The theory about the coming of the Antichrist is also very popular. The last time the world was expecting the doomsday to come in 2012. However, prohibitions to go to the church because of quarantine measures gave food for thought to many. Believers were reminded of prophecies: the Antichrist will come when Easter is celebrated on a wrong date, and when the gates of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem are closed. They even associated the word "coronavirus" with the coronation and enthronement of Antichrist.

Indeed, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem was closed, believers were not allowed to see the convergence of the Holy Fire. However, in the "Revelations of St. John the Evangelist" about the end of the world, there is not a word about the Holy Fire. Similarly, there is no connection between the closure of the church and the convergence of the Holy Fire. The temple had been closed before: its gates were closed on February 25, 2018 in protest against changes in tax law of Israel and a new law that authorized the state to seize land from the church.

USA and Iran order their navies to get ready for war

2020/04/24

The United States and Iran continue exchanging threats. The conflict between two long-standing geopolitical opponents is not going to fade away.

US President Donald Trump threatened to destroy any ships of the Iranian Navy ships that threaten the US military in the Persian Gulf. The coronavirus pandemic does not stop the conflicting parties. Recent incidents threaten to exacerbate relations between Washington and Tehran.

Donald Trump has taken the conflict to a new level when he tweeted a threat to sink any Iranian warships in the Gulf, if they pose a threat to US forces.

It was later stated that the USA would need to open fire at Iranian ships and boats if they come too close. Experts believe that such a sharp reaction followed the on April 15 incident in the Persian Gulf off the coast of Kuwait, where eleven ships of the Iranian Navy maneuvered dangerously close to US warships.

No one was hurt, neither side opened fire. The leadership of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) accused the US for the incident, having claimed that it was US warships that were acting provocatively interfering with military exercises.

As explained by Pentagon deputy chief David Norquist, Trump voiced a warning to the Iranians. American ships retain the right to self-defense, the message from the US administration said. Although the military were somewhat discouraged, since there was no discussion as per a change in the rules of warfare before.

Iran wants to teach USA a lesson

Tehran expectedly responded to Trump's hostile remarks, noting that the country "does not start a war, but teaches a lesson to those who do it." The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Javad Zarif, wrote on his Twitter:

"Unlike the United States, which lie stealthily, deceive and commit murders, Iran acts only for the purpose of self-defense."

The relations between the United States and Iran deteriorated dramatically after Washington pulled out from the "nuclear deal" with Tehran. The United States traditionally imposed sanctions, but the biggest problem became the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, who was killed as a result of the US missile strike near Baghdad in January of this year. Tehran responded with a missile strike on a base in western Iraq, where the US military was deployed.

On April 22, the IRGC announced that Iran launched its first military satellite. In this regard, John Hyten, Air Force general, who serves as the 11th Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the launch of the military spacecraft became another example of Iran's hostile behavior.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, speaking at a press conference on April 22, accused Iran of violating UN Security Council resolution No. 2231 from 2015, which prohibits the launch of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles.

Adlan Margoev, an analyst at the MGIMO Institute for International Studies, said that all accusations that the USA makes are part of manipulations to stop the UN Security Council from lifting the arms embargo from Iran. Therefore, the USA will continue making accusations against Iran, even if the country did not violate anything.

Interestingly, USA's claims about the assistance that Iran received from North Korea and Pakistan to build the rocket do hold water, since there are few completely authentic technologies in this area.

Technically, the USA may launch a military confrontation with Iran. One may obtain good profit of it, although this is definitely not the best time for such an endeavor. The United States takes the lead in terms of Covid-19 infection, and Trump wants to focus on other issues, where he can show himself to advantage.

Pandemics and the hypocrisy of American cultism

2020/04/23

But what really gives this careless driver unwarranted control is when such incidents linger with you:

  • You go into work in a bad mood;
  • you complain about that driver to your co-workers and friends;
  • you let replays of the incident sneak into your mind when you're trying to relax and watch television;

These replays cause you to toss and turn when you go to bed, thus costing you a good night's sleep.

  1. The first is that these cult leaders know the control they have over their followers; otherwise, they wouldn't be so zealous.
  2. The second is if individuals attending these religious services contract the virus, they increase the risk of exposing their families, friends, co-workers, and strangers.

Coronavirus pandemic to revive the USSR

2020/04/23

Alexander Sobyanin, the director of Nomad Cultural Development Fund shared his hopes for the revival of the Soviet Union in an interview with Pravda.Ru. According to the specialists, the USSR may rise from the ashes indeed given the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic.

"Do you believe that the pandemic will worsen the financial and economic situation in the country?"

"The panic in Russia began in November last year, while the pandemic was launched in January. One does not need to look for a cause in the geostrategic coronavirus operation. The coronavirus is not the cause. The panic started because Russia did not have money since last fall, and will not have it.

"No one pays any attention to what the headquarters do at the level of the government or the city of Moscow to fight against the coronavirus. The virus is not so important. It is much more important to understand what to do with the money that the Russian Federation does not have.

"Why do you say that Russia has no money? The Russian Finance Minister Siluanov says that the money will be enough for six years."

"Neither the Finance Minister, nor the Prime Minister will ever claim responsibility for the fact that the economy of the Russian Federation will exist for 6 years in isolation from world trade. They have never said such things. They only relied on certain numbers."

"Russia's gold reserves are evaluated at $600 billion. Is it not money?"

"The debt inside Russia has been snowballing very fast lately, and the debt will continue to grow in the foreseeable future, especially now, when the economy has stopped. Banks have stopped, revenues have stopped. What are banks going to do now? They are going to take property from people."

"We saw all that during the 1990s, but we survived."

"During the 1990s, there was no pre-war situation. These are completely different situations and there is no point in comparing them. There is war ahead of us. The USSR had twice as much population in comparison with Russia. Russia's army and economy are a lot weaker than they were in the USSR in 1991.

"What do we have nearby? We have the 700-million-strong European Union nearby. The Europeans are being forced to completely stop the economy so that Germany could take strict control of the rest of Europe. The Americans will contribute to that.

The media were telling us fairytales about the reluctance of the Federal Reserve to return gold to Germany. As a matter of fact, the operation to relocate it is finished. The large-scale funding of the war economy and the Nazification of Germany has been launched.

"The joint project of the Chinese military intelligence and US bankers to create the parallel financial system BRICS (BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) - this system is part of the "bricks." They use those "bricks" to build a new power for themselves. A similar project in Europe was dubbed PIGS (Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain). They will use PIGS for food.

The goal of all this is to crush all of Europe to subordinate it to Germany. Europe has no physical ability to exist unless it captures a living terriotry with resources. There are only two of such territories:

  •     North Africa and
  •     Russia.

There are no other territories that Europe can take under conditions of complete cessation of world trade.

There is only one way out - the reconstruction of the USSR

"Well, let's imagine we recreate the USSR. Is the bright future going to come at once?"

"Yes, it is. The morals in our society have become much better than they used to be many years ago. People have become much more polite and restrained in their behavior. I'd like to say something different here.

"When our people were fighting against Nazi Germany in 1941-1945, they knew that their children would be taken care of, that medicine would work, schools would work. Today, everyone knows that schools are not going to reopen."

"They will reopen for sure."

"They will reopen later, but it's impossible to open them now, because it is one of the mechanisms of technological coronavirus geostrategic operation all over the world. Right now, the pressure is so high that anyone who dares to do something beyond the scope of the coronavirus panic will be declared an enemy. Naturally, it is the military who get involved in any epidemic. No one will open schools and universities in September, because political processes are much more important.

What awaits us this fall

"If they do not reopen schools in September, it would be akin to declaring martial law."

"Martial law will be introduced earlier than that. I think it will happen in May or June, because our economy has stopped. The Internet will be shut down too, but later.

"I think this fall we are going to see a few flawlessly conducted campaigns, when the leaders of at least eight countries announce their intention to join the USSR. These are the countries where there is a good situation for such a solution:

  •     The Russian Federation,
  •     Republic of Belarus,
  •     Kyrgyz Republic
  •     The Republic of Kazakhstan,
  •     The Republic of Uzbekistan,
  •     Republic of Armenia,
  •     The Republic of Tajikistan,
  •     The Republic of Azerbaijan.

Perhaps the three Baltic countries will join in this summer. I think this fall we will start living in the Soviet Union.
