Soviet photographer Sokolaev has called his series of photos something that can be translated as "Unattractive and hidden side of socialism". He was taking those photos in period of twenty years from 1970s to late 1980s. Of course Soviet powers would not tolerate such view on their state. However the series came out to be really dark and gloomy and really causing an awe when viewing now, thirty almost forty years later. Take a look, awesome photos!
