ZHUKOVSKY, August 26. /TASS/. Russia’s international air show MAKS-2015, currently underway near Moscow, has drawn 40,000 visitors over the first two days, the organizers said.

"On Wednesday, the air show welcomed 22,000 guests. The day before, the airfield of the Gromov Flight Research Institute hosted a crowd of 18,000," the source said.

Thursday will be another, last day when the air show will remain open to officials and specialists only. And on Friday the air show will open to the general public," the organizing committee said. The air show will close August 30.

By now the exhibition complex has closed for the night and visitors are taking a stroll towards shuttle buses that will take them either to the nearest commuter train stations or car parks. There are no traffic jams in Zhukovsky’s streets despite the evening rush hours.
