Russians should not serve in foreign armies, State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fyodorov believes. According to the MP, Russian citizens should not serve for the armies of the countries that impose sanctions or use other discriminatory measures against Russia. Adequate amendments are planned to be introduced in Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Thus, serving in other countries' armies will be equated to treason and may entail a prison sentence of up to ten years.
