KIEV, July 28. /TASS/. Prosecutors will soon bring charges against former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said on Tuesday.
"The indictment has almost been developed and finished against Yanukovych and others on charges of setting a criminal organization, abuse of authority and treason," Shokin said.
"These charges will be brough against Yanukovych and his associates in the nearest future," the prosecutor general noted.
Meanwhile, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Volodymyr Guzyr has resigned earlier today. "I constantly feel political pressure on myself and on Prosecutor General’s Office. That is why I made a decision to resign today," Guzyr said at a joint briefing with Shokin.
