WASHINGTON, May 11. /TASS/. The US Secretary of State John Kerry will pay a visit to Russia and will visit Sochi on May 12, where he will be received by Russia's President Vladimir Putin, will have a meeting with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the US Department of State said on Monday.
During the trip to Sochi, the parties will "discuss a full range of bilateral and regional issues, including Iran, Syria, and Ukraine. This trip is part of our ongoing effort to maintain direct lines of communication with senior Russian officials and to ensure US views are clearly conveyed," the Department of State reported.
"Secretary Kerry will then travel to Antalya, Turkey to consult with Allies and partners gathered for a meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers on May 13."
