Moscow sees no offensive weaponry supplies to Kiev so far — Russia’s OSCE envoy

2015/04/03

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Russia sees no offensive weaponry supplies to Kiev so far, Russia’s permanent representative at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Andrey Kelin said on Friday.

"As of this moment, it is known that arms supplies are coming from Lithuania, although it is not disclosed what types of weapons are being supplied. Other countries make only non-military supplies. These are the United Kingdom and the United States," the Russian envoy said.

Offensive armaments supplies threaten to undermine the peace process in east Ukraine, the envoy said.

"There are no doubts that such supplies on a massive scale, if they are made, will disrupt the truce," the Russian diplomat said.
