MINSK, April 1./TASS/ Belarus has increased the level of export duties on oil and oil products to the level of Russian duties, the Belarus Council of Ministers said on Wednesday.
The rate of the export duty on crude oil increased from $105.8 to $130.8 per ton. The duty on naphtha increased from $89.9 to $111.1 per ton, for commercial gasoline the duty went up from $82.5 to $102. The duty on light, medium distillates will be $62.7 per ton against the previous $50.7. Duties have been set for diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, and other lubricating oil. Last time the duties for oil and crude oil products changed on March 1.
Since 2010, Belarus has fully unified its export duties with the Russian export duties on crude oil and petroleum products.
In 2015, Belarus, in accordance with the agreement with Russia has reserved in its budget the entire amount of export duties on oil production produced by Belarusian refineries from Russian oil.
The republican budget for 2015 is calculated based on the price of oil at $ 83 per barrel.
