The blaze is concentrated on scaffolds, as the bell tower is under construction. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Firemen are working at the scene. The monastery is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Moscow and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also famous for its cemetery, where numerous prominent people have been buried.
