Shoigu About Vostok-2014 Exercises: Russian Troops Show Higher Combat Preparedness

KAMCHATKA, September 23 (RIA Novosti) – The recent large-scale military exercises in Russia’s Far East, Vostok-2014, have demonstrated that the degree of combat preparedness of Russian troops has risen, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday.

The minister said that although “final conclusions are yet to be made,” the troops involved have demonstrated efficient command and “a better degree of combat preparedness.”
