MOSCOW, September 10 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s security measures have been purely defensive and any hysteria on the subject would be inappropriate, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday.
“We have stated and warned on numerous occasions that we will have to… take adequate retaliatory measures to ensure our security,” Putin said. “We have stated this on many occasions but it would be welcome if no one falls into hysterics when these measures get final approval and we start to put them into practice. I would like to stress that everything that we do, comes as a response.”
