YEKATERINBURG, September 9 (RIA Novosti) – A court in the Urals city of Yekaterinburg ruled Tuesday to temporarily close a McDonald’s restaurant in the city for 80 days , a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
Russian sanitary watchdog Rospotrebnadzor temporarily closed the restaurant pending a court ruling, citing violations of sanitary regulations.
Russian sanitary authorities have launched a series of inspections in McDonald’s restaurants all around Russia recently. About 10 restaurants have been temporarily closed so far, including the oldest McDonald’s in Russia.
