Yanukovich: Real or Not?

Last week there were rumors circulating in Russian and Ukrainian media and blog about the health of Ukrainian president Victor Yanukovich. According to the news published by some sources he had a heart attack and stayed unconscious. Then, later, the new press conference was announced and the Ukrainian president appeared alive and looking pretty normal. However the heart attack theory enthusiasts went analyzing his behavior and visual appearance and said that they found staggering proofs that this was not a real Yanukovich but rather his twin.

According to their opinion there is a whole least of flaws and discrepancies between two people giving interviews ten days time apart.

They claim that the hair color, manners, eyes and even his voice don’t match. Also some say that a person from a latter press conference is not as tall as “real” Yanukovich.

One news agency has interviewed a representative of “Regional Party” – the party that supported Yanukovich greatly while he was in power.

And he said that:

“I am not sure if it was Yanukovich or his tween, however I know one little thing about Viktor – he never puts on same suits for the press conferences. This is his principle and he pays very big attention to him. So either he ran out of new suits or somebody has made a mistake.”

Another fact that “twin-president” activists mention about is that on his second press conference Yanukovich declined to answer any questions, so they propose his twin simply didn’t know what to say.

Here we have the two videos from both of the press conferences, and you might try looking at both and see if he looks the same or not:

First one is pretty lengthy, over the hour video, it was filmed at his appearance to press on Feb 28, 2014.

And the second one is just eight minute short. And was filmed at March 11, 2014, right after the rumors of his heart attack started to circulate.
