Photos taken during an amazing trip to Mangyshlak peninsular, Kazakhstan, through plateau Ustyurt. Inside are lots of wonderful views and captions.







Western Kazakhstan has a great variety of landscpes. Some of these cliffs are 350 meters high, the age of the stratum reaches 400 million years!



Chalk mountains Aktolagai – the bottom of the ancient sea whose age is dozens millions of years.



Ancient shells, remains of sea ​​urchins and shellfish, petrified corals and other treasures of the ancient sea bottom are everywhere! Some lucky men even find teeth of ancient sharks here.

Bozzhira – the most spectacular area of Ustyurt plateau – the mountain range formed by sarsen stones.



Local place of interest – “Two canines” whose height is 200 meters.




Moufflons are not afraid of people here.
