There are not so many places in Ukraine today where a visit of a stranger becomes a big event for locals. Without any misgivings and doubts they let strangers enter their houses, show them the best they have, feed them to the full and ask them to visit them again. One of such villages is located in the highland Chernivtsi region inhabited by Hutsuls – Ukrainian highlanders.
