MOSCOW, February 15 (RIA Novosti) – Officials said at least 10 people died as a result of a road accident that involved a logging truck in Russia’s Leningrad region on Saturday.
The crash happened a Volkswagen van drove to the ongoing lane colliding with the truck in the Vyborg district outside St. Petersburg, near the Finnish border, the police said. It wasn't immediately clear what prompted the accident.
Ten people died at the scene, while three others were injured.
