MOSCOW, December 22 (RIA Novosti) – A masked man abruptly started shooting "haphazardly" from a gas-powered gun on a Moscow Region commuter train on Sunday morning, injuring a fellow passenger, police said.
The shooter, who donned the mask just before brandishing the weapon, fled the scene and has yet to be identified, Moscow Region police said in a statement.
The victim was treated for his injuries at Sklifosovsky hospital in downtown Moscow and released the same day, police said.
