2013/01/24

January 22nd is a day of air defence in Russia. On such an occasion some bloggers and journalists were invited to an airfield called Central Uglovaya in the Russian Far East. We are going to join them and see how the airfield works.

Briefing goes first.

This is a thing for making notes.

Here one can call Boss!

Then the pilots go to the dressing room.

The suits are ready.

This equipment is for testing the suits.

They need someone to help them.

Looks warm!

It’s time to go to the planes.

They fuel the planes.

After all preparations they run up the engines.

Su-27 is for one pilot only.

The plane is flying back.

He may finally leave…

And some more photos from the airfield:

The guard of the airfiled says goodbye to you.
