The shore at the Pacific Ocean in Ussuri Bay is covered with color stones – fragments of bottles, dishes and tiles rounded by the waves. Back in the Soviet time unnecessary glass bottles and wastes from the local porcelain factory were loaded here.
It takes about 30 minutes to get to the beacj from Vladivostok.
“Steklyanukha”, as locals call this beach, is especially beautiful in sunny winter days.
In summer glass sparkles on the black volcanic sand.
There is a similar beach in California.
