In Yekaterinburg, Russia, they baked a record breaking Easter cake with the mass of 3,796 kg – almost a ton heavier than the previous record. They used 22 thousand eggs, 300 kilograms of butter and two tons of flour. The diameter of the cake was equal to five meters, height – 75 cm. The glaze on the top of the cake weighed 482 kg!
The royal Easter cake created a furor among the public. The confectioners cut the cake into fifteen thousand pieces for every guest of the event, but many people grabbed more than one.
