In June 1941 Nazi Germany attacked USSR in order to conquer and enslave its people. Soviet army enlisted over 2,000 women snipers. Now Russian artist Olga Sh finds their photos and turn them into full color.
The lady above, Lyudmila P., was known by Nazis as “Lady Death”. Over 300 German soldiers were shot by her. Later she taught younger snipers her skills. Once she remembered: “We were sowing Nazis just as ripe wheat”.
This lady name is Rosa. He became soldier when she was 16. She killed over 59 Nazis for this she was named “organizer of invisible terror attacks in Eastern Prussia”.
These women amongst 2,000 others were the snipers in Soviet army. They were conscripted in June 1941, shortly after the war began.
