Gagarin’s museum in Smolensk, Russia

Tomorrow's day is marked as "Cosmonautics Day" in Russia and some other ex-Soviet countries. It's devoted to the first flight to space made on this day, fifty six years ago. For this ocassion let's visit a Gagarin's museum in Smolensk, Russia and see what they got there. It's the biggest museum in all Smolensk region and have a lot of cool stuff there too see - like the house of Yuri Gagarin, where he lived, slept etc.

This is the house where the first man in space, Yuri Gagarin, was born. He lived here till 1949 then went studying and returned only a few times for vacations.

He was born here March 9, 1934.
