How Chukchi people live in winter

Chukchi people were having traditional way of live for centuries. They are Northern deer herders leaving on endless plains of Russian North. However in the latest years they started using modern inventions in their daily life. Russian blogger Basov went to a traditional shelter of Chukchis and spent some time with them. They don't stay on one place, they move from place to place as their deer herds move. So they live in temporary huts. Here is the story about them:

Now Chukchis live in tents made of animal fur skins and covered with tarp on outside. A joint invention of a tradition and modern materials.

Floors of those tents covered with branches of the trees. Each tent has 15-20 animal skins in it. It can be used for 2-3 years. It's 5-6 meter in length and 3 meter wide.
