The story of this wooden building is like a fairy tale. In the middle of the woods for long time the real semi destroyed and burned wooden palace of an unknown king was standing. It was a scary sight for people who accidently saw it while going thru the woods. However its story got a pretty happy end. Let's see how.

At first this house belonged to a Russian peasant who moved to a big city.
He opened there a carpenter workshop and made a fortune by building wooden houses near St. Petersburg. Then went back to his native village deep in the Kostroma woods and started building his own wooden palace.
