Tamas Konok Sr. is a Hungarian military correspondent who accompanied the Hungarian army moving towards Stalingrad in 1942. Obviously, he repeatedly got it in the neck from the authorities for his shots, in view of their discrepancies with the spirit of combat propaganda. Tamas was more interested in the pictures of life of inhabitants of the occupied territories and Hungarian soldiers. His series "We fight against them" was banned for display at the exhibition in Budapest in 1943.
