Russia has another citizen now. US boxer Roy Jones Jr. has received a Russian passport. The athlete believes that it was a very big step for him to make. He is happy to have the possibility to come to Russia as a Russian citizen. Russia is a great country with great people, he said.
President Putin admitted Jones to Russian citizenship on September 12. The athlete submitted an official petition about the citizenship on August 20. Roy Jones has already received the Russian passport at a central department of the Moscow Migration Service.
