MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russia's gas giant Gazprom has launched gas supplies to Ukraine, the company's CEO Alexey Miller said on Monday.
"Today at 10 am Gazprom launched gas supplies to Ukraine," he said.
Kiev requests maximum supplies of Russian gas
According to the CEO, Ukraine has requested maximum supplies of Russian gas.
"Ukraine has requested maximum supplies volumes - 114 mln cubic meters per day, which is in line with Ukraine’s annual gas offtake of 52 bln cubic meters," he said.
"We’ve received prepayment worth $234 mln out of the promised $500 mln for October from Ukraine’s Naftogaz," Miller said.
