MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. Russian ice hockey star from NHL’s Los Angeles Kings Slava Voynov has arrived to Moscow from the United States. The leadership of the Traktor Chelyabinsk hockey club will meet him soon, the first vice president of the club, Sergey Gomolyako, told TASS on Tuesday.

"Slava has returned to Moscow. We’ll hold a meeting with him soon. We’ll conduct all negotiations with other clubs on the transfer of the rights to the player after a personal meeting with him," Gomolyako said.

US immigration authorities confirmed earlier  that they sought to deport Slava Voynov.

The Russian defenseman was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last week shortly after being released from a California jail where he served a three-month sentence for domestic violence in regard to his wife.
