TVER, September 23./TASS/. A lawmaker from the legislative assembly of the Tver region in northwestern Russia has been found dead, a law enforcement agency source has told TASS.
"The body of [Nikolai] Popov with a gunshot wound was found in the morning on the outskirts of Spas village in the Torzshok district," the source said.
No other details have been available as of yet. Officers from the Investigative Committee and police are working at the site.
