MOSCOW, July 16. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with FIFA President Joseph Blatter when the latter arrives in St. Petersburg for the preliminary drawing procedure for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.
"If Blatter really comes to St. Petersburg, this meeting is being planned now," Peskov said. He did not specify whether Putin will go to the drawing procedure.
The preliminary drawing procedure for the World Cup will be held in St. Petersburg on July 25.
