Pluto is not a dwarf planet

2015/07/15

Pluto is opening its secrets to earthlings. On July 14th, NASA's space probe approached the planet as close as it was possible. The probe, New Horizons, has thus visited the last of the nine planets. It turned out that Pluto is not a dwarf planet - it is larger than scientists assumed. It is the largest and second-most massive known dwarf planet in the Solar System. The final results from the interplanetary spacecraft are expected to arrive only next year.
