KIEV, June 24. /TASS/. Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has called for placing the country’s most corrupt customs services under control of foreign companies.
"The main schemes related to customs services need to be reformed. I ask the State Fiscal Service and the Finance Ministry to launch an experiment at certain customs services and invite a foreign company and transfer the most corrupt customs services to its control," Yatsenyuk told a meeting discussing a reform of the country’s tax service.
Customs services are the most corrupt in the system of the State Fiscal Service, he said.
"Any appointments to positions that are at regional customs services and in the country in general should be transparent," Yatsenyuk said.
