KIEV, May 26. /TASS/. Russia’s diplomats will be able to meet with two Russian citizens detained in Ukraine after the completion of the due formalities with the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ukraine’s Security Service advisor Markiyan Lubkovskiy said on Tuesday.

"There are no any obstacles for the consular staff of the Russian embassy in Ukraine to visit these citizens," Lubkovskiy wrote on Facebook.

The Russian diplomats could meet with Alexander Alexandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeyev "after the Russian side coordinates all the procedural issues with the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry," he said.

The official assured that the Russians’ health was "satisfactory." "Their medical rehabilitation is going normal, and doctors provide Yerofeyev and Alexandrov with all the necessary medical assistance," Lubkovskiy said.

Investigators are currently "working with" the detained Russians, he said.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry on Monday urged the Kiev authorities to promptly ensure a Russian embassy representative’s access to the Russian citizens, who were detained on "terrorism charges" in mid-May near Donetsk, in eastern Ukraine.
