Kremlin knows nothing about new list of officials prohibited from owning assets abroad

MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said Monday he does not know anything about a new presidential decree on introducing an additional list of officials prohibited from owning assets or property abroad.

"I don’t know anything about the existence of such a decree," Peskov told journalists.

The Kremlin spokesman said many officials are "already prohibited from owning assets abroad," including Peskov himself. "Are officials even allowed to own assets abroad now? We need to clarify this," he said.
