The car, a white Volkswagen mini-van, was heavily damaged, pictures from the scene indicated.
Some reports on the social media suggest that the car belongs to a commander of a local pro-government volunteer battalion. He and his wife were reportedly injured, but no independent confirmation of this was immediately available.
