Some Lone Mill

Borisovka is a little village of Russia that has an interesting wooden mill built back in the XIX century. But people are rare guests here today…







However thirty three villagers still live on the closest farm Tarakanov. This is where we can see such a cool crane-shaped well.



And this is Borisovka.



Inside is a real flour milling facility!



Millstone.



It seems the USSR had a factory that made them serially.





We’re back outside. What made the mill rotate? No wiring, no river nearby, and it does not look like a windmill…



Look, there is another empty house nearby…
