Sometimes even large chandeliers need a thoroughful cleaning all the way thru. In Russia in theaters they used to have a super luxurious stuff like this big chandelier of relatively small theater in Petrozavodsk city. It probably weights more than a ton as its made with over thousand of glass pieces and solid brass elements, so cleaning this beauty is pretty rare thing to do, so even a photographer was invited to see it being processed. More photos inside thanks to Gubdaily.
So this takes place in a theater and the chandelier is a legacy of Soviet approach to the theaters. Theaters were a big deal (remember the Bolshoi Theater – famous worldwide?), so even smaller cities received their slice of luxury of this cult.
