YALTA, August 14 (RIA Novosti) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday denied grounds to call Crimea’s reunification with Russia an “annexation.”
“There wasn’t and there isn’t an annexation of Crimea, this was the will of the people…all of these accusations are ungrounded,” Putin said during a meeting with political party leaders.
“It’s ridiculous, simply silly…The accusations are empty and have not grounds,” he said.
