Some people think that those who live in Sakhalin have red caviar for breakfast, dinner and supper. It is wrong, of course – red caviar is not included in their everyday menu. Just as you and most of Russians they eat it on holidays and when they really want to. It is not so cheap on the island too. But almost everyone who comes to Sakhalin usually buys several kilograms of red caviar to take it home for family and friends. It’s true.
We are going to visit a fish factory of Sakhalin and see how this product is made. Maybe after seeing these photos you will like it even more or stop eating it for ever.
