MOSCOW, March 28 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow believes Switzerland's introduction of limits in a range of bilateral cooperation to be "counterproductive," the Russian Foreign Ministry's department of information said in a commentary on Friday.
Switzerland's Federal Council earlier decided to halt permits on the export of military products to Russia and cease talks with Moscow on an agreement on free trade.
"We express our regret with the government of Switzerland's unilateral position in regard to the events in Ukraine, ignoring the reality and continuing explanations by Russia. We believe that such a prejudiced standpoint is not in line with the friendly character of Russian-Swiss relations and does not correspond to the spirit of Switzerland's neutral policy," the statement said.
