MOSCOW, March 26 (RIA Novosti) – The Russian Foreign Ministry sharply criticized Ukraine Wednesday for disseminating claims of rising xenophobic attitudes in Russia.
“The Foreign Ministry is surprised by an irresponsible and ungrounded statement by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Yevgen Perebiynis about the alleged ‘rise of xenophobia in Russia,” the ministry said in a statement.
“The facts, which he mentioned, are not supported by any evidence,” the statement said.
