Government Has Analyzed Possible Investment Risks In Worsening Russia-West Relations

MOSCOW, March 26 (RIA Novosti) – Russia has no plans to exit its traditional markets, but will search for new partners, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said on Wednesday.

“We need to understand that we aren’t going to slam the door shut or leave traditional markets until we’re shoved out,” Shuvalov said.

“The most important now is to be active in order to find new partners and those who look kindly for our attention, and we need to turn to them and discover opportunities to sell our goods,” he said.

Current sanctions against Russia in line with its position on Crimea so far are against individuals. The United States and European Union have confirmed a list of individuals who were given travel bans and had their assets frozen.
