So-called Bogorodskaya toys were very popular in the Soviet years, today this craft is slowly dying mainly due to the efforts of Chinese fakers. Today it is almost impossible to buy a real toy like this even in Moscow, it is sold where it is produced – not far from a Russian city Sergiev Posad.
