The Great Old Palace In Saint Petersburg

The palace of the first governor of Saint-Petersburg Alexander D. Menshikov is one of the oldest in the city. In the times of Peter the Great here they held solemn feasts and dinners, weddings of tsars. The palace had been used as a military school since 1727, in 1966-1981 it was being under restoration.
