Ushakov Relieved of Presidential Aide Duties

MOSCOW, December 15 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed a decree to relieve Sergei Ushakov from his duties as presidential aide, the Kremlin said on its website.


In 2007, Ushakov was appointed presidential aide in charge of preparations for the 2012 APEC summit, which took place in Vladivostok in September.


The decree came into force on Friday.
