MOSCOW, November 3 (RIA Novosti) – Thieves wearing surgical masks broke into a high-tech institute in Moscow and stole nearly 7 million rubles, or over $200,000, from ATMs on the premises, the police said Saturday morning.
“The intruders then broke into the system administrators office, and took the hard disc from the computer that monitors the building's CCTV footage” the police press officer said.
Four unidentified individuals broke into the Institute of Communications, IT and Computer Engineering on Friday night. They beat up the security guards and bound them with duct tape before opening the two ATMs.
Police are investigating the robbery.
