A streetcar has derailed in downtown Moscow’s Komsomolskaya Square due to freezing rain, a law enforcement source said.
“A streetcar following route 45 derailed on Tuesday night because of freezing rain in the Russian capital,” the source said. “No one was injured in the incident.”
The source said a tractor-trailer was sent for to put the streetcar back on the rails.
Earlier it was reported that a number of car accidents took place in Moscow due to bad weather on Tuesday.
