MOSCOW, July 17. /TASS/. One year after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down in war-torn eastern Ukraine, over 100 mourners gathered near the Dutch embassy in Moscow on Friday to commemorate the crash victims.

They have brought flowers, candles and paper planes with the figure 298, the number of crash victims, a TASS correspondent reported.

"Our gathering is less about politics and more about civil solidarity," organizers said before a moment of silence was observed.
