MOSCOW, October 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a governmental proposal, instructing the country's Ministry of Justice to sign an agreement with North Korea to investigate criminal cases, the presidential decree published Wednesday on Russia's official website of legal information said.
"To instruct Russia's Ministry of Justice to sign on behalf of the Russian Federation an agreement on reaching arrangements with the Korean side," the decree stated.
Russia has worked with a number of countries to investigate criminal cases. In July, Putin approved an agreement with Sri Lanka, while in March and mid-June he instructed that similar agreements be signed with Hong Kong and Abkhazia respectively.
